Drugs In Your Drinking Water!

Did you know that the United States is one of a few countries that puts Fluoride in their drinking water? Most of Europe and Canada do not put Fluoride in their drinking water! Well, you might say that's why there's so many jokes about the British and their lack of good dental hygiene, but you would be wrong.

What most countries get, but the USA doesn't seem to get, is that Fluoride is a poisonous, toxic drug that does not benefit the human body by being taken internally in anyway. What it does do is cause many health issues.

Fluoride, is known to cause neurological defects. It was first used by the Nazis on the Jews, to make them sterile, stupid, docile and subservient. Do you really think the Nazis cared if the Jews had good teeth?!

Fluoride, also causes a cosmetic deformity of the teeth called Dental Fluorosis (Mottled Teeth)

Dental Fluorosis, causes white or brown spots to appear on the teeth, this is an indication of ingesting too much fluoride before the eruption of the new teeth. Fluoride, is a drug that should not be forced on the public to ingest, and past off as something that is "good or necessary" for us! Fluoride should be taken topically, and "does" help prevent tooth decay when used that way, but "not taken internally".

If you don't like the idea of Fluoride in your water now, how would you feel about Lithium? Research in Japan and Texas have found that Lithium, which does occur in nature, can reduce the numbers of suicides when ingested regularly. Lithium is a psychotropic drug used for mood swings in people with bi-polar disorder, a group of people who have high suicide rates! The New York Times has a few artical on this topic.

I think the most important question we as a people should be asking is, why? Why the need to control the moods and intern the minds of the majority? When you have a nation of calm, stable, unemotional, none receptive people, what do you have??? A nation that can be easily manipulated, deceived, controlled and conquered!!!

Control and power go hand and hand, so who are the hands that desperately want to control us, and leave us powerless?

Valentine's Day

For many people Valentine's Day is a very big day on their calenders, and to others it's just another day!

I'm not a big fan of Valentine's Day! I just really don't like the idea of
1. Sharing a so called, special day on the same day as everyone else! 2. Knowing that the guy that I'm with, needed a national holiday set aside for him to do something special for me.... like he couldn't do anything the 364 other days out of the year?!

If you want to express your love, affection, or lust for a person, I thing it's great to do it, when they least expect it! That's true romance and it then becomes, truly a surprise!

Most women and men like the occasional, little things done for them or given to them! You can make dinner, you can surprise them at the job and take them to lunch, pick up there favorite ice cream, perfume, popcorn (mine is kettle corn)all done on any day of the week, anytime of the year! It's the little things that keep a relationship going strong, but if you have to do V-Day and it's your only day, just remember lingerie is not for her it's for you guys!

Most guys want you to look like this every time you jump into bed!!! Very pretty, very nice, very sexy and yes I get it guys are visual, but this is not comfortable enough for everyday wear, some of you guys should try it on and see, beauty is not always pleasure!

Victor's Secret Flower Embroidered Balconet Bra Set

Most women, want to look like this when they jump into bed. Very cute, very sweet, and for some you can say that it's even sexy! One thing is for sure, when you pull the covers off of her in the middle of the night, she wont get those automatic goose bumps!

Victoria's Secret Henley Tank Pajamas

Whatever you do, decide to do, and wherever you go, or decide to go, the most important thing to do in my opinion is to be present in the moment with that person! Give them all of your attention, so they know that they are truly special to you! Yes, that means no cell phones, no television (yes that means missing any games on tv) and at least for a few hours no kids! You should both be happy for that break in the routine!

Keep the romance alive! Have fun!

NYC Pet Peeved!

I was so upset with the MTA Train system on Saturday, I had to blog about it. The fares in New York keep going up and yet the service, just gets worse!

My son and I go into the city every Saturday, he's a fencer! Now normally we would take about 45 minutes to get from Brooklyn to Manhattan, and we take two trains to get there.

So, while we're on the 2 train we stop at the Wall St station, and then there's the announcement that there is police activity at 34Th Street station and the train is no longer in service!? WTF? There are at least 11 train stops between Wall St and 34Th St station, so WHY did the train go out of service at Wall Street? If it had move through to the next station, Fulton St, we would not have had to get out and walk across to Wall St on the number 4 train line.

Once we got to the station, on top of everything the token booth clerk gave me an attitude, cause I asked her to let us through the gate, because we had just walked from the other station, and I was not about to pay again, just to continue our trip.

There was no token clerk at the 2 train Wall St station, to give us walking tickets, which would have allowed us to get on for free at the 4 train Wall St station.

Once we get on the number 4 train, I look at the map and figured our best option is to get off the next stop Fulton St, and transfer to the A train that would get us closer to our final destination.

The 4 train is quite and there is no mention of delays! We get off the train at Fulton St, as soon as the doors close, an MTA worker announces that the A train is not running, so now we have to wait once again just to get back on the 4 train that we just got off of!

Unbelievable, why was this not announced to the passengers on the 4 train before we pulled into the Fulton train station? I wouldn't have gotten off and wasted my time! Finally back on the 4 train, we transfer to another train at Union Square and then walk across several blocks!

All of this could have been avoided if the MTA had some sense! Made announcements early and often, and stopped wasting the paying customers time with all the running around unnecessarily!

One of the things that makes New York a great city is that we have a train system that is vast, and we can walk almost anyway in the boroughs, you simple don't have that in most other states! But we are also dependent on the system! A system that gets worst and worst and more expensive, year after year! We, as New Yorkers are up against a rock and a hard place when it come to the MTA, and we are paying for it!

You Have Got to Be Kidding!

A women is walking and texting in a mall and falls into a fountain. Okay, she's unharmed no one really noticed her fall in. She gets herself out and continues on here way soaking wet. Security cameras, gets everything on tape! You can see what happens, but you can't see the women's face.

Some how the tape makes its way onto YouTube, and other social network sites. Now she wants to sue, cause security didn't help her, they arrived to the fountain almost 20 minutes later. Okay, so she's embraced. But guess what, if you didn't put your face all over TV, no one would have know who the heck you were lady!

How dumb can you be! It's sad the world we live in, when you can sue for causing your own embarrassment!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPW8xmI4w6U

*******Happy New Year 2011*******

Wow! Another year has come and gone, and with every New Year brings new or the same old resolutions or self promises. I'm no different then most, I've made a few self promises, and I really hope to stay the course in 2011. I usually don't make resolutions, cause I don't like feeling that I have to make one just cause it's a New Year. So, I would just make promises to myself throughout the year.

Self Promise #1 Exercise more! I wouldn't mind shedding a few pounds! I still fit all of my clothing, but the jeans are fitting a little tighter now a days.

Self Promise #2 Stress Less! Hmmmm, maybe this should be #1 They say that stress causes cortisol and that causes you to put on extra pounds, especially around the belly area! :(

Self Promise #3 Live,Laugh and Love More! I believe that these Three L's are very important to happiness. And is there anyone out there who doesn't want to be happy?!

Live: Do something that makes you feel alive! Do something that reminds you of your childhood, play with reckless abandonment and jump outside of your comfort box!

Laugh: Laughing sends good vibrations not only through you but through the surrounding area around you. Go to a comedy club, watch some funny movies, shows or just hang out with a group of friends.

Love: Spend time with those that you care about. Show them that you care! Touching is our first language of love, we learned it as infants but growing up we don't do as much of it. Hugs can instantly show a person that you care and that you love them and emotionally support them.

Self Promise #4 Keep in Touch! Life can get very hectic, and sometimes those we care about and love can get placed on the back burner. We don't always notice, until days, months and sometimes even years have past. So, it's important to keep relationships of all kinds on a positive note.

Self Promise #5 Write Down Goals and Just Do It! Goals, are very important and completing them are even more important! So, this year make some short term goals that you know you can pull off! I've learned that a steady pace will get you to your final goal, with energy to spare as oppose to a jumping out the blocks full blast, when your running a marathon!

Here's to a Happy New Year to all, and keeping those resolutions!

Free Classes In NYC !

I hate to spend a ton of money, or any money if I don't have to! No, it's not me being cheap, it's me being smart! If you had the choice to get it for free or pay for it, which would you do? GET IT FOR FREE RIGHT!

Well, I am the self proclaimed Find It For Free Queen! So, just like last year I will be blogging about things in NYC that are free! So here's the first for 2011.

In today's harsh economy and high unemployment rate, you might want to brush up on your computer skills. This can be a pricey skill to learn, if you choose to go to a school that specializes in computer software training.

The alternative is only a free card swipe away at The New York Public Library! The New York Public Libraries, have a lot more to offer then just books. You can also pick up movies, music, craft classes, like quilting, knitting, crocheting, and also computer classes. All of the classes are completely free!

Microsoft Office, Genealogy, Keyboarding and Computer Basics are just a few of the classes that you can find, at your local library.

You can find what and where these classes are offered online, and look up NYC Public Library Computer Classes.

Black Friday vs. Cyber Monday

Do you do Black Friday? After you've stuffed your bellys on Thursday and watched the games, do you really want to get up the next day extra early to stand on extra long lines and deal with massive crowds for that one or several great deals?

Well, if your answer is yes you are not alone! Even in this very tough economy, many people have waited for this day in hopes of being the first on line outside the store doors, even if that means getting there at 12 midnight for a store opening at 4:00am. I went out once on a Black Friday, a few years back. Like I said, I went out once!

Maybe, Cyber Monday is more your speed!? There are no lines, no mad dash for that last cashmere sweater in your favorite color and best thing yet you can do it in you pj's.

Yep, Cyber Mondays it's a really good thing!
